We will process your data for the purpose of properly managing our presence on the social network, informing you about activities, products, or services offered by VESISMIN, and for any other purpose permitted by the rules of the respective social media platforms.
The publication of the following types of content is strictly prohibited:

- Content that infringes upon fundamental rights is disrespectful, offensive, or likely to generate negative reactions among our users or third parties, and, in general, any content that VESISMIN S.L.U. deems inappropriate.
- Content that violates the principles of legality, integrity, responsibility, human dignity, protection of minors, public order, privacy, consumer protection, or intellectual and industrial property rights.
In any case, if you choose to submit personal data through a social media platform, VESISMIN shall not be held responsible for the security measures applicable to that platform. If you wish to know more about these measures, you should consult the specific privacy and usage terms of the social network in question. We do not integrate any social media plugins directly on our website. When you visit our website, no data is transmitted directly to social media services such as Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram. We have no control over such data processing on the linked platforms.
Registration Forms and Newsletter
You may register with us for various services, such as participation in events (online and in person) and to receive informational emails. For registration purposes, we require certain personal data (email address, your name, and other contact details), which are accordingly marked as mandatory fields. You may also provide additional optional information.
We also use the Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) tool, a service provided by Salesforce, Inc., to process your data. This allows us (if you have provided your consent via the cookie banner) to combine your data with other customer data stored by us, as well as with third-party information, to personalize communications based on your interests and interactions. Additionally, MCAE may be used to analyze newsletters. To this end, our email communications contain so-called “web beacons,” which are one-pixel files retrieved from the service provider’s server when the email is opened. For analytical purposes, the data you provide, and the web beacons are linked to your email address and a unique identifier.
Online Meetings
We use the “Teams” tool provided by Microsoft Corporation (USA) to conduct online meetings, events, or job interviews via video call. For live streaming of special events, the Zoom platform by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. may also be used.
Depending on the type and scope of use of these tools, various categories of data may be collected and processed, including but not limited to:
- Personal data (e.g., name, surname, email address, profile photo).
- Meeting metadata (e.g., date, time, duration, IP address, MAC address, UDID, device type, OS version, client version, camera/microphone/speaker type, connection type).
- Text, audio, and video data (e.g., chat history, video and audio recordings).
- Connection data (e.g., phone numbers, country names, start and end times, IP addresses).
If you participate in an online meeting as an external participant (“guest”), you will receive an access link via email or calendar invitation from the host (VESISMIN). Certain online meetings may require prior registration via a registration form. You may participate via your browser without installing an application. The service is provided through the relevant service provider’s website, who is responsible for data processing as the data controller.
You are free to use the chat function during the meeting and may choose to activate or deactivate your camera and/or microphone. If you use the chat feature, your text entries will be processed for display and, if necessary, stored. When you activate your camera or microphone, the audio and video from your device will be processed throughout the meeting.
Please note that pseudonymized participation is only possible for live streams. In all other online meetings, your personal data may be visible to other participants, and any data you or others upload, share, or create during the meeting may be processed and retained even after the meeting ends. There is no centralized deletion feature available to the host. We therefore advise you not to use the chat function if you wish to avoid data being retained.
In specific cases, certain online meetings (mainly events) may be recorded for documentation or future publication. Both audio and camera views may be recorded. You are free to choose whether to activate your camera and/or microphone. You will be informed in advance about any recording and the intended publication location, if applicable. By continuing to participate with your chosen settings, you consent to the recording and subsequent use. If you choose not to activate your camera or microphone, no personal data (aside from your username or pseudonym) will be recorded. You may also ask questions via chat, which will not be part of the recording. If recordings are published online, please note they may be accessed globally, at any time, and indexed by search engines or linked to other information. In principle, any information published online may be copied and redistributed without restriction. You may withdraw your consent with future effect, provided it is technically feasible to remove your personal data from the recording.
Exhibitions and Events
We regularly participate in exhibitions, congresses, and other events as exhibitors and occasionally as organizers. During the planning, execution, and follow-up of such events, we process personal data if there is an existing business relationship with you or if one is being established. In this context, we process the necessary personal data, for example, during event registrations, participation in surveys we conduct, and/or based on direct contact or inquiries.
If you register for one of our exclusive events, possibly with a limited number of participants, we may process your data to plan and manage the event and, where applicable, to issue a certificate of participation. Any prior or subsequent individual contact (e.g., for satisfaction surveys or to provide information about similar events) is based on our legitimate interest.
For publicly accessible marketing events with purely informational purposes and where no certificate of attendance is issued, we process the necessary data (name, contact details) based on our interest in providing information about our products or services.
To document or later publish our activities, we may take photos or video recordings and record certain events or sessions. The camera focus is primarily on the speaker, not on individual participants; however, participants’ audio may be recorded if they actively contribute. Prior to the event, we will inform you of any recordings and, where applicable, where they will be published. By registering for our events, you consent to the potential recording and subsequent use. If the recording is published online, please be aware that it may be globally accessible at any time, indexed by search engines, and linked to other information. Any data published online may, in principle, be copied and redistributed. You may withdraw your consent with future effect, provided it is technically feasible to remove your personal data from the recording.
